FIA Mission Statement
The mission of Florida Intercultural Academy is to provide to its students a quality
and equitable education within an activity-oriented multicultural studies program.
We aim to promote within our students cultural understanding through an appreciation
of similarities and differences and world peoples. Every child has the right to
be included. Our goal is to integrate the study of the cultures of the world into
the mainstream curriculum of our school.
Upon graduating from the school, each student will have:
- A clearly demonstrated set of academic skills;
- Experience in community service;
- A clear awareness of their rights and responsibilities as citizens;
- A clear understanding that their minds are different from one another;
- An appreciation of similarities and differences and world peoples;
- A personal development plan for the years beyond our school.
