Welcome to Florida Interculural Academy, Hollywood Campus.
Dear Students, Parents, Faculty and Friends of FIA,
I am eager to meet each one of you on a personal level and hear about what you feel makes FIA your school of choice in Broward County. I expect one of the reasons: YOU! My plans for this year begin, first and foremost, with partnering with you to add to the already amazing program that has been established at FIA. Schools are learning communities and my primary goal for the Hollywood Community of FIA is to expand every facet of our neighborhood.
My philosophy of education is rooted in the premise that every child is capable of learning. My personal experience of raising five children, who were extremely different in every aspect of their personalities, academics, athletics, and their dreams, has solidified my belief that no two children learn the same. Together we will explore new ways to help each student at FIA reach their potential.
FIA’s attention and commitment to global understanding, coupled with their multicultural integration, provides students with an understanding of heritage and culture which I feel is one among many of the most exciting things happening at FIA. Thereby, supporting the same principles that America was built on. As informed, discerning parents who have been provided with educational/school choice for our children, it is wonderful to be able to locate and find a quality educational institution to enroll our children. The guidelines and standards have been set; however, FIA is striving to be a superior institution who sets the bar higher than the norm. Here at FIA; we expect and therefore receive more.
This is the season of growth and change at FIA Hollywood Campus, let’s embrace it and do remarkable things together!
