Parent Teacher Resource Group
The function of the PTRG is to support the faculty, staff, parents, and especially the students at Florida Intercultural Academy. This is accomplished in several ways - through classroom volunteers, fundraising, and sponsorship of activities. Our goals this year are: to increase communications throughout the school community and to increase parent participation in the PTRG school events. Membership dues are collected. The membership fee is $10.00 per family. To date we have raised $$11,031.89 in the PTRG bank account from previous PTRG fund raisers. Fundraisers of various types are planned throughout this 2009-2010 school year. The money raised will be used to fund educational student assemblies, school fairs, teacher/classroom supplies and Field Day.
