Why learn a new language?

Intercultural Academy is responding to the necessity of the student. We are giving students the opportunity to learn a new language, in response to the growing multi-bilingualism in South Florida.

There are many reasons why students need to learn Spanish:

There is evidence that children acquire languages faster than adults do. Young minds process new words more efficiently.
Spanish is the most popular language spoken in the United States.
Cultural understanding: Knowing another language helps students learn how other people learn and think.
If you can learn Spanish, you'll have a head start in learning the other Latin-based languages such as French and Italian.
Spanish is one of the easiest foreign languages to learn.
It is always a plus by speaking other languages in getting better employment opportunities.
You will also be able to travel and make new friends from different cultures.

Florida Intercultural Academy will accept applications for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.

How Spanish classes will be taught:

We will teach in the most “Natural Way” by listening, speaking, spanish

reading and writing. We teach according to the age of each student by using techniques that accelerates the learning process such as music, games, pictures, colors, association, and role playing in an engaging environment. Even if your children speak Spanish, they will learn typical songs from our Spanish world. They will learn to pronounce words correctly and will get familiar with different Spanish accents.
