Why learn a new language?

Intercultural Academy is responding to the necessity of the student. We are giving students the opportunity to learn a new language, in response to the growing multi-bilingualism in South Florida.

There are many reasons why students need to learn Spanish:

• There is evidence that children acquire languages faster than adults do. Young minds process new words more efficiently.
• Spanish is the most popular language spoken in the United States.
• Cultural understanding: Knowing another language helps students learn how other people learn and think.
• If you can learn Spanish, you'll have a head start in learning the other Latin-based languages such as French and Italian.
• Spanish is one of the easiest foreign languages to learn.
• It is always a plus by speaking other languages in getting better employment opportunities.
• You will also be able to travel and make new friends from different cultures.
